What’s It Like to Live in a Pyramid in Minecraft? Netizens: The immersion is strong, I’m already dead.

First, adventurers, let’s start with a multiple-choice question! What kind of home does everyone have in Minecraft?

 A. A refined matchbox house. B. A luxurious villa.

 C. A real man doesn’t need a house—just dig a cave to stash stuff and go mining!

Type your answer in the comments section and let me see~

I’m gonna take a wild guess here—probably most of you are C, because I often find myself in that situation too~

However, I recently discovered a new texture pack and decided to build a new house just for it. After looking around, I picked a pyramid to build. Let me share the construction process with you~

First, let’s pull out some sandstone stairs. Place them in a square outline, with each side consisting of 5 stairs placed facing outward. Choose any side you like, remove the middle stair on that side, and leave it as a small entrance.

Remember to carefully place the corner stairs so they don’t end up facing the wrong way~

After the base is done, we’ll build the second layer using sandstone stairs with each side being 3 blocks long. This time, there’s no need to leave an entrance on the side, and don’t seal the top yet—leave an opening.

Entering through the opening on top, we dig two blocks deep vertically and place a layer of dark oak planks at the bottom. While we’re at it, replace all the surrounding dirt blocks with sandstone blocks.

I think the contrast between light and dark looks nice, but adventurers can of course use other colors for the flooring~

Next, let’s add some small decorations inside the room. First, go outside and seal the top with a layer of sandstone slabs placed one block higher. Then come back in and hang a small chandelier from the ceiling~

Place two barrels vertically near the entrance to serve as both storage and decoration. Put down the most important item—a bed—and place a painting at the head of the bed. In my texture pack, one of the paintings is a clock, which makes for an excellent decoration~

For the remaining small spaces, add some functional blocks like an enchantment table and a crafting table, and place flower pots on top of them as cute little decorations~

After finishing all that, turn around. On the left, set up an item frame with a map combo and display an armor stand wearing a cool set of gear to show off our adventurer status.

Then, at the exit, place a trapdoor from the top. I’m using a birch trapdoor, as it matches the overall color scheme a bit better~

Finally, there’s a very important matter—how do we get out?

Yes, indeed, this little dwelling we’ve built is a compact “snail house,” with only a one-block exit. So, we need to employ a little redstone mechanism!

From the trapdoor, dig down three blocks and place a sticky piston facing upward. Put a dirt block on top of the piston. Also, dig out the block next to the sticky piston and place a redstone dust there. Then, replace the block above with dark oak planks, and place a lever on top of the planks to control it.

And with that, the pyramid snail house is complete~

Back on the surface, let’s place two crouching lions in front of the pyramid to really capture the vibe~

That’s all for today’s building share~ Have any of you adventurers been working on any builds lately?
